Reducing footprint with
plant oils
Butter has close to the same carbon emissions as beef with more than 14kg CO2e/kg, and butter
is consumed in large amounts. Switching butter with plant oils can therefore make a big difference
for our climate targets. Dragsbæk is one of Europe’s most innovative companies when it comes to
getting the right flavor and texture from plant oils, for example through cultures and fermentation.

NATURLI'
NATURLI’ serves as the silver bullet for Dragsbæk’s plant portfolio. All the products are made from
plants, and the brand serves as a testing ground for many of our innovations.
Suppliers
Many of our ingredients are sourced from local farmers in Jutland or around Denmark, like our
rapeseed oil, oats and rye. In addition, we work with farmers all over the world to get the best
ingredients for our products. All our suppliers are screened through our internal Code of Conduct,
and we use our Carbon Calculation tool to choose the best options in terms of carbon emissions.
